Posted by Students on the campus of Judson University are not the only ones entering the spring semester in anticipation of the opportunities that lie ahead. Heritage Counseling Center, established in 2000, is expanding their services beyond Plainfield, IL and settling into the Wellness Center on the campus of Judson University.
The staff of Heritage will provide counseling through the means of a Christ-oriented therapeutic relationship and work with college students, staff, and faculty to promote emotional well-being across campus. Judson has also afforded Heritage the opportunity to expand services beyond the students to community members from the surrounding area for private and group therapy sessions.

For years, college students have faced overwhelming challenges in the transition to college, the pressure of academia, and the development of their new-found independence. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the rates of anxiety, depression, and loneliness within the University’s population rapidly. The staff of Heritage is prepared and eager to work through these unique challenges in the context of Christ-oriented, confidential counseling.
